OneSchema intelligently corrects messy data so that your customer doesn’t have to spend hours in Excel just to get started with your product. Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of Transforms and Advanced Validations which allows you to customize your importer using a library of out-of-the-box transforms.

Transforms

Transforms allow you to perform pre-built transformations after mapping, including:

  • Find and replace
  • Column splitting and merging
  • Column creation and filling

We’re continuously expanding the library of transforms you can choose. If you’re an existing customer, reach out to us if you’d like to see a new transform added to the library.

Advanced Validations

Advanced validations give you access to multi-column uniqueness validations – one of the most commonly requested types of validations. This enables you to perform unique checks across any number of columns. As with transforms, the library of advanced validations will be expanded over time, so feel free to let us know what types of validations you’d like to see us add!

Setting up transforms and advanced validations

To get started, navigate to your Developer Dashboard and look for the Transforms and Advanced validations tabs. These tabs are also where you’ll find the ability to create code hooks, custom transforms and validations written in AssemblyScript.

Ready to make data imports effortless and efficient? Most data tools aren’t built for handling messy data, but OneSchema is. Request a demo of OneSchema here or email us at sales@oneschema.co.
